According to the manufacturer, the model, which is available in two sizes, combines the advantages of the proven Aircomfort and Airstripes back systems.

The fact is that the contact surface between the back and the backpack has a decisive influence on the wearing comfort. The larger the contact surface, the more heat builds up. Ideal air circulation is therefore required so that even sweaty climbs can be mastered comfortably. For this reason, Deuter relies on a new type of back system for the revised Race Air Bike backpack, which, according to the manufacturer, combines the advantages of the proven Aircomfort and Airstripes back systems. The mesh back divided in the middle is intended to further reduce the contact surface and at the same time ensure more space when riding with a curved spine. Mesh hip fins as well as perforated shoulder straps and back padding are also used to support this.

The Race Air bike backpack made from 100% recycled materials is available in two sizes. According to the article description, the Race Air 10 offers a volume of 10 liters and weighs only 870 grams. The Race Air 14 + 3 is actually only 70 grams more. Here, too, the product name makes a clear statement: the 14-liter packing space of the more voluminous model can be increased by three liters if required. This is easily realized with a zipper. As always, when it comes to a bike backpack, it's the inner values that count. The organizational unit for the tool and the pump is intended to ensure quick access to the tools in the event of a breakdown. The zip on the inside valuables compartment with key clip protects against losing money, credit cards or ID cards.
