Roglic & Evenepoel break away

With the overall victory of Primois Roglic (jumbo – Visma) ends the 102nd edition of the Tour of Catalonia. On the 135,8-kilometre circuit with start and finish in Barcelona, the Slovenian left nothing to be desired. 28 kilometers from the finish Remco Evenepoel (Soudal – Quick-Step) his big attack. Again, only the overall leader was able to follow, even if Marc Soler (UAE) was able to catch up in the meantime. The day's victory was decided among the two strongest drivers here - and left to Evenepoel.

Happy ending?

So the Tour of Catalonia ends forgiving. Yesterday refused Primois Roglic the cooperation because he wanted to avoid a sprint with a time bonus. Tactically clever, but by Remco Evenepoel of course not welcomed with joy. Today Roglic let his opponent win the stage as his lead in the general classification was large enough. In addition, Evenepoel can be happy about the victory in the junior classification and winning the mountain jersey.
