Groves Catalonia

Cycling: Kaden Groves has struck again at the Tour of Catalonia. After the fourth stage, the Australian also wins the sixth stage. Meanwhile, Primoz Roglic and Remco Evenepoel fought another duel.

The sixth stage of the Tour of Catalonia is on Caden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck). After the Australian had already won the fourth stage, he now also went for the sixth stage. The Frenchman was second again after 174,1 kilometers from Martorell to Molins de Rei Bryan coquard (Cofidis). Curious: Kaden Groves suffered a defect around four kilometers from the finish and had to take over his teammate's bike. He fought his way back into the field, passed everyone - only to later actually win the stage. Tomorrow the 102nd Tour of Catalonia ends with a hilly circuit in Barcelona.

Evenepoel vs Roglic

Despite the relatively easy stage profile, the two top riders dueled again today Primois Roglic (Jumbo – Visma) and Remco Evenepoel (Soudal - Quick Step). After the two break away from the peloton around 25 kilometers from the finish line and become the front runners Marc Soler (UAE) were able to catch up, but they did not harmonize with each other. Roglic didn't want to lead and Evenepoel didn't want to do the work alone. So the two classification drivers let themselves be caught up again. In the intermediate sprint, however, they shot out of the peloton again. Evenepoel secured the three seconds ahead of Roglic. At the first intermediate sprint of the day, the order was reversed, so that there were no changes in the overall standings.
