Catalonia Tour #1: Roglic sprints to victory in front of Evenepoel

Cycling: Primoz Roglic won the first stage of the Tour of Catalonia. The Slovenian was able to prevail in a difficult sprint ahead of world champion Remco Evenepoel from Belgium.

The start of the 102nd Volta Ciclista a Catalunya is on Primois Roglic (Jumbo - Visma). After 164,6 kilometers with start and finish in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, the Slovenian was able to advance in a demanding sprint Remco Evenepoel (Soudal – Quick-Step) from Belgium. As a result, Roglic also takes the lead in the overall standings. The Tour of Catalonia will end on Sunday after seven bumpy and mountainous stages in Barcelona.
