Team corratec: With passion, the 2023 path leads directly to the Giro d'Italia

Cycling: In the past calendar year, the corratec racing team was founded as a Continental team. Now he has been promoted to the UCI Pro Team. And in 2023 they will even take part in the Giro d'Italia.

corratec wants to rock the Giro d'Italia

February 5th was the day. The corratec team was presented in the Tuscan province of Pistoia. In addition to the squad, which currently consists of 20 men, the new corratec high-end race bike CCT EVO could also be admired. The Upper Bavarian bike manufacturer and his team have risen from the Conti team to the UCI Pro team in record time. And now, true to the motto "Passion of Cycling", they want to rock the Giro d'Italia. This begins on May 6, 2023 in Fossacesia Marina and is undoubtedly the team's highlight of the season.

Valerio Conti is the most famous driver

The corratec team can of course hope for the support of the fans in its Italian homeland. There hasn't been a WorldTour team from Italy for years. The corratec team is now even the youngest team in the entire UCI. With an average of 24,7 years, they obviously want to focus on young people. In contrast, Valerio Conti at 29 seems almost like an old hand. The Italian has competed in 12 Grand Tours and is both the most experienced and well-known rider on the team.

Team Corratec presentation in Montecatini Terme for the 2023 season! Very excited! Also my Italian is reaching a very high level already, I can now ask “where is the library”, ask for a cappuccino and describe what I do in my free time. All the essentials. pic.twitter.com/uaT7T18mM1
