Route of the Sol #3: Pogacar leaves the group & teammate Wellens wins

Cycling: Tim Wellens celebrates the first victory for his new team UAE. The Belgian was part of the break that his team let go. In the short final climb, he pulled away from his companions and won.

UAE Team Emirates continues to dominate the Ruta del Sol. Due to his comfortable lead in the overall standings Tadej pogacar (UAE) today even pull a breakaway with several minutes. In the end, the team still celebrated. Because Pogacar's teammate was in the poisonous final climb Tim Wellens (UAE) the strongest man. Tadej pogacar had no trouble defending his yellow jersey in the peloton.
