Cycling: Bryan Coquard has finally won a race in the WorldTour. The Frenchman was unbeatable in the uphill sprint on stage four of the Tour Down Under.
Coquard WINS before Bettiol
What is worth waiting for. In his eleventh professional season Bryan coquard (Cofidis) claimed his first win at WorldTour level. The Frenchman defeated the Italian in an uphill sprint after 133,2 kilometers from Port Willunga to Willunga Township Alberto Bettiol (EF Education - EasyPost). The Frenchman completes the podium Hugo Page (Intermarché-Circus-Wanty). Several bike lengths ahead, Coquard left no doubt that he was unbeatable today.
Yates moves past Bilbao
Exchanged in the overall standings Simon yates (Jayco-AlUla) and bilbao hair (Bahrain – Victorious) the places behind Leader Jay Vine (UAE) because Yates was able to grab a bonus second in an intermediate sprint. The two Germans Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain – Victorious) and Maximilian schachmann (Bora – hansgrohe) were careless at the decisive moment and missed the first group when there was a wind edge.
