Cycling: There is a dispute in the French team Groupama - FDJ. And this has been held publicly since Wednesday. David Gaudu and Arnaud Démare - the two captains in the team - should not like each other at all.

Gaudu: "It doesn't fit between him and me"

A chat history from david gaudu on Discord was leaked Wednesday night. This is said to be from January 20th and shows lines from the Frenchman that have a dispute between him and his teammate Arnaud Demare sketch clearly. The climber is said to have written that he and the top sprinter would not understand each other. There is even talk of disrespect and a crusade that both are on. Most recently - according to Gaudu - Démare even tried to bring him down in training.

david gaudu in chat history:
"It doesn't fit between him and me. Too much has been done wrong with me. He's been very disrespectful since 2017. The war is not over yet. We are on a crusade.”

Team boss Madiot rebukes both drivers

In the meantime it has david gaudu spoke up on Twitter and apparently reached out to both the team and to Arnaud Demare personally apologized. Nevertheless, team boss Marc Madiot, as he explained to Ouest-France, his two professionals rebuked.

team boss Marc Madiot:
"Are they being yelled at? They already have. they are not friends That's okay. But my job is for them to work together. They can say whatever they want among friends, but not on social media. They should drive Paris – Nice together. And we will not change anything about that.”
