Since 1990, the Taiwanese brand Super B has been offering high-quality bicycle repair tools. Super B TBA2000 bike tool case: first impression
For a little more than 200 euros, the buyer receives a sturdy bicycle tool case that contains a large selection of tools. The tools are held in place quite tightly by the integrated plastic insert. However, individual tools such as the bit set require quite a lot of force when removing them. Clearly designed, the right tool is quickly found and therefore quickly at hand.
Processing and feel
The precisely manufactured tools enable a good and safe repair of the bicycle. This is also ensured by the sheathing of individual tools, which lies comfortably in the hand. Keys that require a little more strength are made correspondingly longer. The chain tool can be gripped perfectly and allows the bicycle chain to be cut very efficiently. However, the unusual design of the spoke wrench is somewhat at the expense of handling.
Which repairs are possible and can the tool convince in use?
Thanks to the large selection of tools, most conventional bicycle repairs can be carried out. Unfortunately, the tool set also has some gaps here. For the price of over 200 euros, we definitely expect a bowden cable pliers, a chain wear gauge and definitely a larger selection of Torx wrenches. Otherwise there is only one thing left to say: Great!
