Démare defends his title
Like already the Tour of Lombardy on Saturday, a bicycle race was held for the 116th time on Sunday: Paris – Tours. The one-day race in France took the pros over 213,5 kilometers from Chartres to Tours and traditionally marks the end of the road bike season. In the mass sprint, the Frenchman was able to win again Arnaud Demare (Groupama – FDJ) prevail. Last year's winner referred the Belgian Edward Theuns (Trek – Segafredo) and the Irish Sam Bennett (Bora – hansgrohe) in second and third place.
Hagenes wins Paris - Tours Espoirs
The young drivers at Paris – Tours Espoirs had to cover a little fewer kilometers. After starting in Bonneval, it was 178,4 kilometers to Tours. Here the Norwegian could Per Hagenes Beach with six seconds ahead of the French Mathis LeBerre and with 64 seconds ahead Tomas Kopecky prevail from the Czech Republic.
