Deer R.X735: New addition to the Aggressive Series

August 5, 2022 by Florian Nowak

Product news: The Rotwild Aggressive Series was launched a few years ago for real mountain bikers in order to offer additional power for more downhill fun through a performance-oriented setup and the necessary e-support. With the new Rotwild R.X735, dhe Hessian manufacturer now has its own E-MTB lineup and puts a new all-rounder at the top of the Aggressive Series. The new Rotwild e-bike should not only impress with a powerful battery and motor, but also offer a high level of energy efficiency through various further developments. This is where the full carbon frame comes into play, because it makes the bike a true all-rounder paired with aggressive performance.

Rotwild has always been about offering ambitious mountain bikers the right sports equipment for their rides. With the new Rotwild R.X735, the manufacturer is now presenting its new top model.

“The bike is the youngest member of our AGGRESSIVE Series. This is aimed at riders whose style and riding style is characterized by high agility and who are looking for an efficient bike with good handling. With the installation of a more powerful battery in the R.X735, we also support the riders with a range boost. So that they don't have to worry about the dwindling energy supply when driving." - Peter Schlitt, Managing Director Rotwild

In the new top model is the Shimano EP8 drive installed, which together with the battery built into the Integrated Power Unit (IPU) should offer a full 720 watt hours of power. Thanks to the quick release system, the battery can also be easily removed and charged on the bike or externally. An important further development is the innovative asymmetrical arrangement of the cells in the battery, which significantly changes the design of the battery block.

In order to ensure the best possible performance, the Rotwild R.X735 was developed with a strong weight-optimized approach and a bike designed for all-round use with an appropriate geometry. With the larger battery, the new bike is imperceptibly heavier than the other bikes in the series and weighs around 21 kilos in size L.

With a slack steering angle of 65,5 degrees, the Rotwild R.X735 offers a lot of safety at high speeds. Thanks to the longer wheelbase and reach, the driver can also optimally shift the center of gravity and thus retain the upper hand in extreme driving situations. The steeper seat angle in relation to the shorter top tube length is intended to ensure a more central seating position.

“We are proud that with the R.X735 we have built a real all-mountain bike with a certain amount of extra power. The "735" is suitable for riding in almost any terrain - for long distances, scrambling over altitude meters or even the technically demanding trail. It's possibly the most versatile all-mountain we've ever built.” – Peter Schlitt

The overall concept of the bike is intended to ensure confident yet playful handling on technically demanding downhill stretches. At the same time, it convinces with efficient and individually adjustable support when things are really going uphill. The spring travel of 150 millimeters ensures uncompromising driving pleasure on the most varied of routes and makes the Rotwild R.X735 a real all-rounder.

Deer Aggressive Series

The new bike in the Rotwild Aggressive Series is available in the equipment variants CORE, PRO and ULTRA and in 4 frame sizes S, M, L and XL.
