Pressing the button simultaneously activates the backlight. In order to protect the built-in CR 2032 battery, it goes out after a few seconds. The automatic switch-off of the entire display after 40 seconds also pursues the same goal. With or without backlighting, the display is very easy to read. In addition to the air pressure, the display also shows the current battery level. Should the small energy supplier weaken, it can be easily replaced with the help of a mini Phillips screwdriver.

This is really nicely designed, and the attachments also bring real added value, but due to the small dimensions, minimal wobbling is noticeable when inflating.
