Approximately Go FS 200

Child safety – three elementary criteria

5-point belt system with stable anchoring

With a driver, children and co., e-cargo bikes quickly reach a total weight of over 200 kg. Despite their heavy weight, they effortlessly reach speeds of 20 to 25 km/h. If, at this speed, you brake sharply or even have a collision, enormous forces are exerted on the little passengers. It is all the more important that the children are securely strapped in. Best with the one installed by Ca Go 5-point safety belt with a stable restraint system on the frame structure. A high-quality system that very few cargo bikes on the market offer. And above all a system whose protective effect has been proven in an independent crash test.

Child seat with height-adjustable headrest

Headrests have been mandatory in cars for 50 years. They are also a matter of course today for child seats in cars or bicycles. Luckily, because when braking without a headrest, the cervical vertebrae can be stretched backwards beyond their load limit. And that even at low speeds. There are fatal consequences, especially for small children. But not only the headrest itself is important. The correct height is also important. Accordingly, individual child seats with height-adjustable headrests are strongly recommended for cargo bikes. Ca Go is the first and only manufacturer to offer this combination.

Shock absorbing box with safety collar

Children should definitely wear a helmet and sit as low as possible in a shock-absorbing box with a high shoulder line. The arms must not protrude from the box in order to be protected in the event of a fall or the cargo bike accidentally falling over. A shock-absorbing safety collar that protrudes over the child's head offers even more important protection. It provides comprehensive protection for the head, neck and shoulder area. Ca Go packs all of these safety features into a unique box with side impact protection.
