Cycling: Daniel Martinez has won the fourth stage of the Tour of the Basque Country. The Colombian prevailed in the sprint of the favorites ahead of Julian Alaphilippe.
Martinez celebrates surprising win in sprint
It was almost enough for victor lafay (Cofidis). Only 900 meters before the finish, the Frenchman was caught by the group of favorites on the 185,6 kilometer stage from Vitoria-Gasteiz to Zamudio. Already missed yesterday Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) narrowly claimed his second stage win at the 61st Itzulia Basque Country.
