SuperGel XC touchscreen test: With the SuperGel XC touchscreen, we are already testing the second long-fingered glove from the GripGrab brand. Even if this model looks very similar to the Shark Padded Full Finger, the differences cannot be denied. Equipped with useful detailed solutions, the SuperGel XC touchscreen offers a real all-inclusive carefree package.
Structure, materials and processing
The palm of the SuperGel XC Touchscreen Glove is made of soft synthetic suede. The narrow area between the middle and finger bones is doubled. The designers also strengthened the heavily stressed region between the thumb and forefinger. Light and breathable mesh material is used on the back of the hand. Other features of the glove are the 4 millimeter DoctorGel padding, the reflective strips on the little finger and eye-catching silicone prints on the thumb and forefinger. The all-inclusive carefree package is rounded off by a Velcro closure, touchscreen compatibility and a small magnet embedded in the pull tab.
The SuperGel XC touchscreen put to the test
The soft palm and the fingertips covered with silicone ensure optimum grip and grip. The grip is just as convincing as the high level of comfort that the SuperGel XC touchscreen offers the driver. The supportive effect of the gel padding, which is divided into two areas, contributes to driving comfort. The breathable mesh fabric nestles perfectly against the back of the hand and reliably dissipates sweat and heat. Operating the smartphone also works really well: the touchscreen compatibility is excellent. The magnets embedded in the pull tabs are certainly a special gimmick. This allows the gloves to be easily connected when not in use. But even better: after a ride in the rain, thanks to the magnets, the gloves can be “hung up” on heaters with a metal housing to dry.
