Ale climate: Italian cycling clothing for cold days

14 December 2021 by Florian Nowak

Product news: The Italian clothing manufacturer is known for its extravagant designs with lots of neon colors. With its Alé Klimatik series, the manufacturer has also had a line for cold and wet days in its portfolio for several years. The best protection and breathability should be combined in the best possible way to make cyclists' rides more pleasant and comfortable.

The Alé Klimatik range convinces with a combination of protection and breathability, while visibility in the dark was also an important factor in the development. In addition, the best thermal insulation, as well as wind and waterproof properties ensure pleasant comfort even on cold and wet days.

Alé Klimatik K-Tornado 2.0 jacket

The technical K-Tornado 2.0 jacket is suitable for a wide variety of climatic conditions. This makes it a garment that can be worn all year round. The extreme elasticity of the membrane ensures an ideal fit and a comfortable fit. The 3-layer fabric with Event membrane and DWR treatment on the entire surface, has a high level of breathability and excellent thermal insulation, even when wet.

Alé Klimatik K-Tour pants

The long Alé K-Tour bib shorts are the perfect addition to the K-Tornado jacket. With a thermal and elastic textile, this is the ideal companion in particularly humid winter climates. The ergonomic cut, which adapts perfectly to the body, and the well-constructed lumbar area keeps the trousers in the optimal position during movement, so that nothing can slip or rub uncomfortably. The DWR treatment protects against light rain and dirt, while not sacrificing breathability.

Alé air conditioning accessories

The accessories are at least as important as the main pieces of clothing – especially in winter. But here, too, Alé has a lot to offer in its Klimatik collection for the cold season.

For cold fingers you have a neoprene glove with a preformed ergonomic fit in your luggage. Thanks to the taped seams you get full protection. The anti-grip silicone print on the palm provides better grip, while the reflective logo is said to offer more visibility.

As hands and feet and toes are often a problem when driving in winter, Team Klimatik is a highly insulating polypropylene sock. The material used has a higher thermal insulation capacity and has a breathable barrier that prevents air from getting through but supports the transport of sweat to the outside. Because the sock is anti-odor and hydrophobic, the formation of bad odors is prevented and the skin is always kept dry. So that cold and moisture cannot get to the foot from the outside, the range also includes a waterproof overshoe with extra welded seams and a reinforced toe cap. This keeps feet dry even in the worst weather conditions. The reflective details on the back increase road safety.

With the K-Atmo scarf and headband you are perfectly equipped to be comfortable and stay warm even on cold or wet days.
