Ötztal Cycle Marathon to take home: Climb the Timmelsjoch in the Rouvy Challenge!

Everyone: This year the stood This year's anniversary edition of the legendary Ötztaler Cycle Marathon is on the agenda. If you want to bridge the time until next year, you have the opportunity to take a piece of the Ötztal feeling home with you on December 04th, 2021 at the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon mountain race on Rouvy. It goes up virtually to the Timmelsjoch. If you then want to climb the other three passes, Kühtai, Brenner Pass and Jaufen Pass, you have the virtual opportunity to do so in the Challenge vuntil December 19, 2021.

The "Ötztaler" Challenge on Rouvy

For four weeks, from 20.11. - 19.12.2021 racing cyclists from all over the world have the opportunity to prove themselves at the Ötztal Cycle Marathon Challenge. The aim is to master the legendary mountain passages of the Ötztal Cycle Marathon within the specified period. The finishers can then look forward to the virtual Ötztal cycle marathon batch, and high-quality prizes will also be raffled off among all finishers.

The virtual platform offers a free 14-day membership. This means that every Ötztal Cycle Marathon fan and passionate cyclist can take part in the race. Click here for a free trial subscription.



Rouvy Race on December 4th

The mountain race to the Timmelsjoch, the grand finale of every Ötztal cycle marathon, starts on December 04th, 2021 at 15.00 p.m. A smart trainer and registration with Rouvy are required to start. The whole thing will also be broadcast live on ÖRM TV with many interesting studio guests, reviews of past ÖRMs and prospects for 2022.

Ötztal Cycle Marathon 2022

The Ötztaler Cycle Marathon 2021 could be implemented this August despite the imposed Covid-19 measures. The next Ötztal Cycle Marathon is planned for August 28, 2022. The registration period is as usual from February 01st to 28th, 2022.
