X2O Trophy: Iserbyt celebrates hat trick at Koppenbergcross

1 November 2021 by Michael Behringer

Iserbyt Koppenbergcross

Cycling: Eli Iserbyt won the Koppenbergcross for the third time in a row and thus took the lead in the X20 Trofee right from the start.

Iserbyt the fastest in the mud

For the third time in a row Eli Iserbyt (Pauwels Sauzen – Bingoal) happy about his victory at the Koppenbergcross. The Belgian won the mud fight 18 seconds ahead of his compatriot Toon Aerts (Telenet Baloise Lions) and 78 seconds ahead of the Dutchman Lars van der Haar (Telenet Baloise Lions). The brutally tough race due to the weather conditions deservedly went to Eli Iserbyt, who had just turned 24. It was he who attacked in lap #1 and was able to shake off more and more competitors bit by bit. With this victory he also leads the X20 Trofee, in which a total of 8 rounds are held.
