Cycling: Annemarie Worst and Eli Iserbyt can celebrate their victories at the dune cross in Koksijde. While the Belgian can further expand his overall lead in the men's race, Lucinda Brand is still clearly in the lead in the women's race.

Worst defeats Betsema and Brand

With a strong imagination has become Anne Marie Worst secured the World Cup victory in Koksijde. The Dutchwoman won the dune cross ahead of her compatriots Denise Betsema and Lucinda Brand. The last-named overall leader didn't get off to a good start, but then fought back to the top with a lot of effort. Annemarie Worst left his opponents in the third round and drove towards her success as a soloist.

Iserbyt with fourth World Cup victory

One nation should also occupy the entire podium in the men's category. But here it should be the Belgians. Eli Iserbyt was the fastest for the fourth time this World Cup year. He won ahead of his compatriots Lauren's Sweeck and Toon Aerts. In doing so, he continues to extend his lead in the overall World Cup.

“I've worked very hard and my condition is very good. It's going well at the moment and I'm enjoying it. It's still a tough and busy season and I have to try to keep up the form."
