New PRO bags for road bike and gravel riders: For that extra bit of storage space

September 9, 2021 by Andrew Waldera

Product news: One of the big challenges when cycling is the limited space for luggage. But not only globetrotters have to pay attention to small packing dimensions, but also commuters and short-distance drivers. More and more cyclists are also using modern gravel bikes for their rides, both in everyday life and on tours. PRO has expanded its range to include handlebar, saddle and frame bags especially for this group, but racing cyclists don't have to do without that extra bit of storage space either.

Discover Series: Wide range of bags especially for Gravel bikers

There are three new bag models in the Discover series from PRO. The small PRO Discover Team handlebar bag has a volume of two liters and thus offers storage space for the most important items. The subdivision with several compartments and side pockets makes organization easier. The handlebar bag has waterproof material, waterproof seams and zips so that the contents stay dry even in the rain. The bag is fixed with adjustable Velcro straps.

Attached to the front triangle, the PRO Discover Team frame bag has a useful volume of 2,7 liters. The wide Velcro straps ensure compatibility with most bicycle frames. The frame bag is made of waterproof material and, like the handlebar bag, has waterproof seams. Features that the small PRO Discover Team saddlebag also has. Patch kits, spare inner tubes or mini tools can be transported unobtrusively on the saddle. Thanks to the roll-top closure, the outer dimensions can be adjusted to the contents and the maximum volume of 600 ml can be reduced accordingly if the goods to be transported are small. The adjustable Velcro straps allow mounting on almost any saddle.

With four different volumes, the PRO Performance saddlebags Small/Medium/Large/XL (400 ml, 600 ml, 1 liter and 1,5 liters) cover the entire range from short distances to multi-day tours. Equipped with a solid zipper and 420D nylon material, the bags are designed for a long life with countless uses, according to the manufacturer. The wide Velcro straps are designed to ensure universal compatibility with all types of saddles and also make assembly easier.
