Product news: Equipped with numerous features, the new Livall EVO21 should significantly increase the safety of the driver. The smart helmet has two impact protection systems to protect the head from serious injuries. No fewer than 38 LED lights ensure 360° visibility on public roads.
Modern cars consist of more than just the engine, chassis and tires. A large number of sensors ensure more and more safety on the road. Unfortunately not with a view to cyclists, who have to expose themselves to the dangers of road traffic on a daily basis. Good visibility and a helmet are therefore indispensable for urban cyclists - and ideally with digital features. The new Livall EVO21 smart helmet combines exactly these components. The helmet has two impact protection systems, the layers of which are designed to protect the head from serious injuries. The first layer of polycarbonate distributes the force of an impact across the entire shell to minimize impact energy. The second layer of polyurethane absorbs the remaining pressure. The innermost helmet layer is made of high-tech memory foam. According to the manufacturer, this adapts exactly to the shape of the head and should therefore ensure maximum wearing comfort.
Livall EVO21 with 360° visibility
360 LED lights and innovative technologies ensure 38° visibility - and there's a lot of high-tech in there. Thanks to the acceleration sensors built into the helmet, conspicuous red LEDs show the following traffic when the speed is slowed down and the driver brakes, turns off or continues straight ahead. If the driver slows down or even comes to a standstill, the brake warning lights on the back of the helmet are activated automatically. Thanks to an intelligent on/off function, the helmet is automatically activated or deactivated within four seconds of being put on or taken off. The ambient light sensor of the EVO21 even recognizes the time of day and thus the lighting conditions - according to the manufacturer. This means that the Livall EVO21 switches on automatically when it is dark and dims the lighting when the ambient light is bright.
Innovative flashing system and patented fall detection
The flashing system is also innovative. When the hand returns to the handlebars after the hand signal to turn, a simple tap of the fingertips activates the turn signal on the helmet, followed by 45 flashes. For additional visibility, the white front light (in yellow when flashing) of the helmet not only shines in width, but also at an angle of 1,50° in height. This should ensure ideal perception by oncoming vehicles, even when bending down in a sporty position and looking down. The safety package is completed by a patented fall detection system. According to the information provided, this ensures that in the event of accidents with a fall distance of more than XNUMX meters, an emergency signal is immediately sent via SMS and/or e-mail to one or more predefined emergency contact(s) - including the exact GPS position of the accident site .
The Livall EVO21 will be available in four colors and two sizes from the beginning of September at a price of 129,99 euros.
