Product news: The "Pink Ribbon" raises awareness of breast cancer worldwide. The Fürth-based family company uvex is now supporting Pink Ribbon Germany with a specially designed special edition. For every helmet sold, uvex donates ten euros and five euros for every pair of glasses sold to the fight against breast cancer.

The company uvex is renewing its commitment against breast cancer and has launched a special edition to support Pink Ribbon Germany. The uvex pink ribbon edition consists of the uvex i-vo cc pink ribbon bike helmet and uvex lgl 43 pink ribbon lifestyle sunglasses. Both products are in alpine white with subtle details in pink. The uvex i-vo cc pink ribbon helmet is available at a price of 79,95 euros, and the goggles are available for 59,95 euros. For every helmet sold, uvex donates ten euros and five euros for every pair of glasses sold to Pink Ribbon Germany.
The campaign receives prominent support directly from four world-class athletes. The two Ironman champions Laura Philipp and Carolin Lehrieder as well as Ingrid Klimke and Kristina Bröring-Sprehe from equestrian sports draw attention to the disease. In order to encourage as many people as possible in Germany to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, uvex is also involved in the Pink Ribbon loop route. To this end, the Middle Franconian company is collecting kilometers this year with its cycling community, which is part of the official uvex cycling Strava Club www.strava.com/clubs/uvexcycling recorded and symbolically donated. As an option, everyone can of course also enter a personal mileage donation as part of the "Team uvex" in the loop route donation form.
