SKS Compit/Stem and Com/Smartbag: Practical mounting on the stem

11 May 2021 by the editorial office

Test: tried and tested and newly thought. The Compit mounting system is universal and suitable for every requirement. Attention is also paid to the most diverse types of bicycles, whether with or without an electric drive. The type of attachment to the handlebars is correspondingly versatile.

SKS Compit: Simple assembly

This is new in this extensive portfolio SKS COMPIT/STEM. A moontage option directly on the stem, which only works with Ahead stem systems. Because the Ahead cap clamps the stance and fixes it to the bike. This is how the bracket positions itself extremely inconspicuously on the stem when no smartphone is attached.

The separately available accessories are connected directly to the connection via a click system. The highlight is that the cases can be turned in both directions. The inclination can also be easily and quickly adjusted and fixed using an Allen key.

To remove the case again, simply press the release button with one finger and turn it either to the left or to the right out of the holder.

SKS Compit: stable and safe

On the trail, the Compit/Stem cuts a really good figure in combination with the Com/Smartbag. Even the mobile phone does not fly around in the case as expected. Thanks to the coated Velcro inserts, the smartphone is held in place and you always have the right view of the map or driving data.

In addition, the Com/Smartbag has an opening on the underside to connect headphones or to supply power via the optional Compit+ power bank while driving. If you open the case, there is also enough space for cards, keys or money, so you can always take them with you on short trips.

The processing of the combination appears stable and is extremely well thought out, it also withstands the occasional rain shower and the valuables remain protected.
