Product news: Cosmic Sports is expanding its bikepacking portfolio with the new Fixplus brand straps. Characteristic of the product made in Franconia are the easy handling and the versatile application possibilities. Fixplus is intended to ensure that packages are securely fastened and held securely on the bike, even in the event of strong vibrations and impacts.
The Cosmic Sports range now includes versatile tightening straps from the new Fixplus brand. Due to its versatile application possibilities, the strap made of elastic TPU plastic is particularly suitable for bikepacking, but due to its uncomplicated handling it should also be very popular in other bicycle areas. According to the manufacturer, the pin quick-release fastener can be operated comfortably with one hand and should also offer a tensile strength of up to 90 kilograms. According to the data sheet, the tensioning strap produced in Franconia is resistant to heat (up to +60°C), cold (up to -30°), seawater and UV radiation. The 23 millimeter wide straps are available in a total of ten different colors in lengths of 35, 46 and 66 cm at prices between 6,00 and 9,00 euros per piece. A set of 2, 23 cm long, is also available for EUR 10,00. The range is supplemented by the Strapkeeper strap guide (costs EUR 3,00) and the Aluminum mooring strap guide for attaching to frame eyelets. The latter is available as a set of 2 together with a pair of tensioning straps in 46 cm for 24,00 euros and 66 cm for 29,00 euros.
