Bike events / MTB News: The dates already announced for the two Bike Festivals Garda Trentino and Willingen 2021 will be postponed to autumn. As in the previous year, the reason for the decision is the COVID-19 pandemic. It remains to be hoped that the execution of the events will really be possible in the second half of the year. In 2020, the trilogy, which also includes the festival in Saalfelden Leogang, ultimately had to be canceled completely.
The new year has barely begun when we unfortunately have to announce date changes for the first big bike events. The background to this is again – or rather still – the COVID-19 pandemic. In view of the tense situation, according to the organizer, it is already foreseeable today that the Bike Festivals Garda Trentino and Willingen with tens of thousands of visitors in April/May will not be feasible. The decision to move the two events early to the second half of the year is intended to offer both participants and visitors the greatest possible planning security. The new date for the Bike Festival in Willingen is August 27th to 29th, 2021, the actual season opener in Riva will follow on October 15th to 17th, 2021. The starting places already booked for 2021 will automatically remain valid for the new ones Dates, the same applies to the tickets transferred from 2020.
