Zilvermeer Cross Van Aert

Cycling: Wout van Aert and Lucinda Brand won the Zilvermeercross on Saturday. In the Belgian Mol, the Belgian and the Dutch were able to assert themselves in wintry conditions.

Admittedly, there wasn't much snow on the route when the pros competed in the Zilvermeercross on Saturday. In Mol, Belgium, viewers in front of the television set still got to see wintry conditions. Delicate snowflakes fell from the sky as Wout Van Aert won his World Championship dress rehearsal in front of Laurens Sweeck. In the women's race, Lucinda Brand won the exciting race ahead of Denise Betsema.
