Cycling: Lennard Kämna is Germany's cyclist of the year. Emma Hinze can be happy about the award for the women. Marco Brenner wins the election for youth cyclist.

Kämna wins thanks to Tour stage victory

For the 49th time, the magazines RadSport and RennRad have chosen Germany's cyclist of the year with a reader's choice. The Bora – hansgrohe team can celebrate a triple success in the men's category. Tour stage winner Lennard Kämna (26,9%) was able to prevail over his teammates Maximilian Schachmann (19,2%) and Pascal Ackermann (16,3%). The women were tighter. The three-time track world champion Emma Hinze (25,0%) was chosen just ahead of Lisa Brennauer (22,8%) and Franziska Brauße (18,9%). Marco Brenner (27,1%) won the election for youth cyclist relatively well ahead of Luisa Daubermann (20,2%) and Benjamin Boos (15,2%).

🏆 Lennard Kämna: German Rider of the Year! 🏆

The readers of Radsport and Rennrad have voted @lennardkaemna the winner of the "Cyclist of the Year" award.
