Driving fun on any terrain for all family members: kommit – The innovative train system for little bikers

10 December 2020 by Andrew Waldera

Product news: After many self-made prototypes, which initially consisted of a piece of climbing rope, the time has come for kommit. This is an innovative train system with which the kids can ride up mountain climbs without any problems and still remain completely autonomous.

With the innovative train system, the manufacturer RideTime GmbH in Treuchtlingen promises a product that should guarantee driving fun on any terrain and with any fitness level for all family members. The system is as simple as it is ingenious. The base of the kommit attaches to the seat stays of the towing bike. On the pull line, which can be pulled out of the base station, there is a loop that the child can independently attach and detach from the stem of the handlebars with a small flag. The control of the bike thus remains with the child, which further promotes individual motor skills and concentration.

The train system was developed out of an idea. Robert Rieger, one of the managing directors of RideTime GmbH and operator of the Heumöderntrails trail park in Treuchtlingen, explains: "It came about more or less out of necessity, since we as a family continue to ride our bikes together in nature after the bike trailer wanted to move. That's why I kept thinking about how even the youngest can climb mountains without any problems and still remain autonomous.” According to Robert Rieger, the train system was tested hundreds of times over a period of two years on the Heumödertrails.

The innovative train system is available at a price of 49,95 euros at www.kommit-bike.de
