MTB cycling / everyone: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 racing calendar was characterized by cancellations and postponements. Of course, the Mountainbike Jedermann stage races were also affected. Nevertheless, the organizers are looking positively into the future and have already announced their dates for the coming season. Hopefully we can look forward to challenging races again in 2021, which lead through fantastic landscapes with unique views.

Alpine Tour Trophy
In 4, the 2021-day mountain bike stage race Alpentour Trophy once again invites professionals and hobby racers to compete for best times. Both teams of two and solo drivers are allowed to start. A tough 220 kilometers and 8.800 meters in altitude have to be completed in the mountains of the Schladming-Dachstein region. A special feature is the ALPENTOUR DUO E-PLUS 2-person team ranking, in which a team rider is on the road with an e-bike.

Engadine Bike Giro
The Engadin Bike Giro will take place from July 07th to 04th, 2021 in the midst of the beautiful scenery of the Engadin mountains. All three stages of the sixth edition will again start centrally, so that there are no transfers and overnight stays in one place are possible. A top-class event that also attracts professionals. At the Engadin Bike Giro 2020, Alessandra Keller (RN Thömus) and Simon Vitzthum (jb Brunex felt) clinched the overall victories.

Bike transalp
The Bike Transalp is one of the absolute classics. This iconic stage race has been held since 1998, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event for professionals and amateur riders took a break last season. However, everything is expected to return to normal in 2021. A total of around 500 kilometers with 18.000 meters of elevation gain are on the program over the seven days. Approximately XNUMX participants are expected. 1.000 Participants from 40 nations.

Rothaus Bike Giro High Black Forest
The mountain bike stage race Rothaus Bike Giro Hochschwarzwald goes into the fifth round from August 5th to 8th, 2021 with the two stage locations Todtnau/Notschrei and Grafenhausen/Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus AG. After last year's premiere, the Black Forest community of Todtnau will once again be the two-day start and finish point. Four marathon stages with a total of around 260 kilometers and a good 7.000 meters in altitude await the participants.
