LED light and cold protection for Lazer helmets: Useful tools for the winter

29 October 2020 by Andrew Waldera

Product news: You certainly don't need to have any special skills to recognize the approaching winter with all its unpleasantness. The fact is that we cyclists have to face the weather conditions for better or for worse. Users of a Lazer helmet have access to useful tools with which the bicycle does not lose its attractiveness as a great alternative to the car or public transport, even in the dark and cold season.

Can be used for almost all Lazer bicycle helmets: LED light as a supplement to bicycle lighting

The LED light, which is easily clicked into the back of the helmet in the latest helmet models, offers additional visibility in traffic with a light intensity of 5 lumens. The small light has three light modes and should offer a light duration of up to 24 hours depending on the mode selected. According to the manufacturer, the LED light can be recharged within two hours via micro-USB. Available in different versions including a charging cable at a price of 19,95 euros each.

Winter kit and aeroshell for road bike and e-bike helmets

Commuters and everyday cyclists can fight the cold with the winter kit and the aeroshell. The fluffy ear warmers in the winter kit (suitable for the Urbanize NTA and Cruizer NTA helmets) are made of microfleece and artificial leather, and an additional plug for the front ventilation opening protects your head from cooling down.

The aeroshell for the Genesis, Z1 and Blade+ road bike helmets, also offered by Lazer, is simply attached to the helmet and thus closes the ventilation openings. When not in use, the cover can simply be rolled up and stowed away to save space. Equivalent to this, there is also a special cover for the Anverz NTA e-bike helmet. The prices for the covers and the winter kit are 19,95 euros each.
