Cycling: Tomorrow the Giro d'Italia will be mountainous. Again, we expect an outlier to cross the finish line first. We're betting on Jack Haig's success.

2x 1st category & 2x 2nd category
The ninth day of Tour of Italy has it all. After the sprint in Guardiagrele goes with the Lanciano Pass (12,7 km à 6,9%) started the wild climbing. The mountain of the first category is followed by two mountains of the second. The San Leonardo Pass (13,8 km at 4,5%) and the Bosco di Sant'Antonio (9,9 km at 5,0%) include sections with a gradient of more than 10%. After the second sprint in Rivisondoli, the finale begins. To the target up to Roccaraso a mountain of the first category has to be mastered again. With a length of 9,6 kilometers and an average gradient, the final climb is not particularly difficult, but it is just the tip of the iceberg of an overall strenuous day. After all, after the start in San Salvo, a whopping 208,0 kilometers have to be completed, most of which only lead uphill or downhill. Nevertheless, there will be no large time gaps between the top favorites.
Velomotion prognosis: Jack Haig wins the day
The day's win probably goes to a breakaway. This could be an issue Jack Haig. After the Off by Simon Yates the Australian team has to go hunting for stages. Tomorrow's section seems to be made for it. Team Ineos will also go on the offensive again.
