Crankbrothers M13 and M20 Multi-Tool: Update for tubeless riders

September 18, 2020 by the editorial office

Product news/accessories: The bicycle component specialist Crankbrothers has given the proven M13 and M20 multitools an update especially for tubeless riders. Thanks to a discreet box directly on the tool, tire plugs find a clean place and don't fly right through the backpack.

Crankbrothers M13: Small and light

With a length of 89mm and a weight of only 164 grams, the Crankbrothers M13 multitool is relatively light, despite 13 different tools and the tire plug box. In addition, a box is included in which the entire tool can be easily stowed away. A lifelong guarantee also protects the little helper. The RRP is €25,99.

The small box not only makes it easy to pack and stow the M13 tool, it also contains five tire plugs for tubeless tires. So you are well prepared in the event of a breakdown and after a short pit stop nothing stands in the way of continuing your journey.

The Crankbrothers M13 Multitool is available in four different colors: red-black, nickel, gold and black. There should be something for every taste.

13 tools (without tire plugs) find their place in the compact tool, exactly what the designation M13 promises.

  • Special tools: plug tool
  • Allen key: # 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8
  • Screwdriver: Phillips #1, 2, flat head #1
  • Torx: T10, T25

Crankbrothers M20: Compact with chain tool

With a length of 89mm and a weight of only 203 grams, the Crankbrothers M20 multitool is a bit heavier than its little brother, but in return there are a few more relevant helpers on board. The M2 tool is also delivered in a metal box and also comes with a lifetime guarantee. The RRP is €39,99.

Compared to the M13, the Crankbrothers M20 is a bit more bulky. Of course, because more tools also require more space. The chain tool in particular is a small weight driver.

The Crankbrothers M20 Multitool is also available in four different colors: red-black, nickel, gold and black.

In the Crankbothers M20 tool there is even space for 20 tool components (without tire plugs).

  • Special tools: Plug tool, valve tool
  • spoke wrench: # 0, 1, 2, 3
  • chain tool: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 speeds
  • Allen key: # 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8
  • Screwdriver: Phillips #1, 2, flat head #1
  • open-end wrench: 8 mm
  • Torx: T10, T25
