Trek Slash
The Trek Slash is one of the most successful enduro bikes in recent years. Downhill, the Americans' long-travel trail bike is an absolute delight; lies full in the curves and irons sportily over demanding terrain without losing the typical playful driving behavior. Giant Trance X Advanced Pro
With more spring travel and adjustable geometry, the Asian manufacturer brings a potent companion for rough trail use. A highlight is the live valve system installed in the high-end model, which uses a microprocessor to adapt the spring elements to the surface and driving behavior. For those who prefer to ride with less technology, Giant also offers a Fox 36 Performance and a RockShox Pike Select variant of the full carbon trail bike.

Merida Ninety Six
The fully race bike with modern geometry and 100mm spring travel comes onto the market with a full carbon frame and 29" wheels. The top model impresses with its high-quality components, carbon wheels and a low weight of approx. 10,3 kilos. In addition to Factory spring elements and a Transfer Vario seat post from Fox, a complete 12-speed XTR gear system from Shimano is used. The cheaper model comes with Fox Performance equipment and is slightly heavier.

Flatter steering angle, more suspension travel and more storage space in the swat box - the new model from the Californians offers everything a mountain biker's heart desires in the high-end S-Works equipment with elegant Fox Factory suspension and Sram XX1 Eagle gears. Although Specialized does not use aluminum models, it does offer four other carbon variants with RockShox and Shimano components, which are by no means inferior to their more expensive brother in terms of riding fun.

Rocky Mountain Elevation
With its 170mm spring travel, 29" wheels and a revised geometry, the Canadians' new model now focuses even more on Enduro. With a classy RockShox Ultimate chassis and electric Sram X01 Eagle AXS gears on the carbon top model, or Marzocchi/Fox combination on the cheapest aluminum version, the Altitude is your go-to for fast and tough trail use. A bike for world champions and adrenaline junkies.

Cannondale Scalpel
The new Scalpel is faster and lighter than its predecessors. The top model impresses with noble components. Carbon wheels and attachments ensure a light weight and with the Fox Factory chassis, the XC bike offers potential for the racetrack. The "FlexPivot" rear end with its flexible carbon struts provides grip and traction off-road and if you don't want to use carbon and factory, you will find aluminum alternatives in addition to other carbon models.

Orange has been making a name for itself for years with its folded aluminum wheels. The incredibly potent single pivot wheels are designed and manufactured in England. The Stage Evo may "only" have 130mm of travel, but it can still keep up with its big siblings off-road. Y T Izzo
With the Izzo, the Franconians, who are otherwise more enduro and downhill-oriented, offer a trail bike that caused a stir on the market with its aggressive geometry and attractive price/performance ratio. Thanks to the light frame construction, potent geometry and 130mm of spring travel, the Izzo generates enormous riding fun both downhill and uphill.
