September 8, 2020 by Florian Nowak

Product news: Even if the start of the Tour de France was uncertain for a long time this year and the end is not yet in sight, where will the heroes of the country road be celebrated once again by cycling enthusiasts around the world. Manufacturers like Oakley also celebrate the Tour and its heroes, which is why the Oakley Tour de France collection is being launched just in time for the Grand Boucle, which not only provides color highlights, but also offers the high-end performance you are used to from Oakley.

Color-inspired by the pinnacle of cycling, the Oakley Tour De France collection offers high-end performance for those who seek their inner champion. With a total of three models in the colors black, gold and silver, the Tour de France collection is a real eye-catcher for professionals and everyone. You have the choice between the proven models Sutro, Flight Jacket and EVZero Blades, all in the special Tour de France 2020 design.

According to Oakley, the color scheme was chosen because it "symbolizes the power, prestige and endurance that propels these world-class athletes through the 21 grueling stages." As you would expect, the glasses in the Tour de France collection contain Prizm technology, which in this variant has 11% light transmission.

More than Florian Nowak

Florian Nowak is a professional cyclist at the EuropeTour level and has competed in many international races. At the German championship in 2017, he was the best non-WorldTour professional in 7th place and was therefore able to recommend himself for the Tour de L'Avenir and the World Championships. But he doesn't just feel comfortable on the racing bike, he's also always drawn to off-road terrain. In addition to sport, he works on his second mainstay and has completed his business administration studies at the LMU Munich.
