Cycling: Jan Riedmann is dead. The 17-year-old had an accident during training on Saturday and succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

Terrible news from Bavaria. The only 17-year-old junior Jan Riedman from Karbach died yesterday, Sunday. The day before, the high school student was cycling with his colleagues from Team Auto Eder – the U19 team from Bora – hansgrohe – when a car gave them the right of way in Sugenheim. Jan Riedmann collided with the car almost without braking and sustained serious injuries. A rescue helicopter from Ochsenfurt flew him to the University Hospital in Würzburg, where he died yesterday. He will be buried this Friday at 14 p.m. in his home town of Karbach.
