News: The corona virus (SARS CoV-2) still has Germany and the world firmly in its grip, but the call for ever more far-reaching easing of the current restrictions is getting louder. The federal government has reacted to this, albeit only to a limited extent, and is easing the restrictions that have been in place up to now. However, the detailed regulations usually remain a matter for the federal states.
General hygiene rules
The general hygiene rules remain in place:
- Minimum distance of 1,5m -2m
- Nies etiquette
- Regular hand washing
- Mouth and nose protection in shops and on public transport
Of course, this also applies to sports. So remember to continue to observe these rules on your next bike tour or visit to the bike park. This is relatively easy to do while on tour, but it's important to remember before and after your tour or during breaks.
Nationwide easing
Since May 11th, mass sport in the open air has also been allowed again. However, it is important that everything is contactless and that the general hygiene rules are observed. In the future, people from two households will be allowed to meet again. Ideal for bike tours together. However, it is also important to continue to keep the minimum distance.
Country-specific easing (excerpt)
In Bavaria and Hesse, among other places, sports facilities for individual sports have been allowed to open outdoors again since May 11th. This also includes bike parks. The hygiene rules must of course also be observed here, and other hygiene regulations also apply to minimize the risk of infection. You can find out the individual opening times of the parks and their hygiene concepts directly from the operators.
