Social responsibility when buying a bike: Bulls draws attention to specialist retailers

News: In the Corona crisis, the Bulls bike brand is drawing attention to itself and the specialist bicycle trade with an interesting campaign. Under the motto: Show your face - WE ARE BULLS, the Cologne bike brand shows who is actually behind the online shop bulls.de.

Though the doors of the bike shops will open again on Monday, but the Corona crisis has also left its economic mark on the bicycle trade. Sales collapsed noticeably everywhere, only with the workshop service and online trading was it still possible to earn some money. 

The bike dealers of the Zweirad Kauf Genossenschaft (ZEG) are well positioned with their online shops from Bulls and Pegasus. A professional and user-friendly sales platform ensures a smooth and secure online purchase. But what very few people know about this model: the ordered Bulls bikes usually come from the specialist dealer around the corner. This ensures that the new bike arrives at the customer's site professionally assembled and ready to ride. If desired, the selected dealer will even deliver the bike personally with a premium delivery of only €25 and adjust it on site. Bike dealers for generations

On the one hand, this sales model is a brilliant service for the customer, on the other hand, it also brings sales for the regional bike dealer in this precarious situation. This is also the appeal of the WE ARE BULLS campaign  to understand: With the purchase on bulls.de the local bike dealer should be supported. Because, as the campaign clearly shows, they are also employers in the region. Bicycle dealers are mostly family businesses and have been run for generations. There, many trainees and job seekers find a place as a two-wheeler mechatronics technician, salesperson, clerk, in accounting, in the human resources department and in a number of other professional groups. Depending on the size, the businesses are run by family members or are already medium-sized companies with up to 100 employees in the warehouse, workshop, administration and sales room.

In order to take away the anonymity of the bike retailer from the customer and to show the people behind the brand online shop, Bulls has shown its bike retailers participating in the shop system. Although not all of the more than 200 bike dealers are listed, maybe one or the other bike dealers in your region are missing, but that doesn't change the message: Support your regional dealers! 



Even if the doors of the bike trade open again for the time being, the recommendations of "social distancing" and contact restrictions still apply. Exactly the right time to take a look at the Bulls campaign and to support the regional bike dealer and his employees the next time you buy a bike, and if you want, you can also conveniently shop online.
