Cycling: Sergio Higuita (EF) took the lead in the general classification with a victory on the fourth stage of the Tour Colombia.
Higuita cements EF's success
With four riders leading the general classification, Team EF started the fourth stage of the Tour Colombia. One of them managed to win the stage and take over the leader's jersey. Sergio Higuita (EF) was the fastest man after 168,6 kilometers on the route from Paipa to Santa Rosa de Viterbo. He left his fellow Colombian and reigning Tour de France winner Egan Bernal (Ineos) and Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck – Quick-Step) behind him. With this victory, Sergio Higuita also takes over the overall lead from his teammate Jonathan Klever Caicedo (EF).
