Cycling: Matteo Moschetti (Trek – Segafredo) won the last race of the Mallorca Challenge. The Italian left Pascal Ackermann (Bora – hansgrohe) behind again in the sprint.
Moschetti starts the new season perfectly
Two wins after two races - that's something to be proud of. Matteo Moschetti (Trek – Segafredo) got off to a great start in the new season. Impressive, because the 23-year-old Italian was last able to celebrate a success in August 2018. Now he seems to have reached a new level.
At the Trofeo Palma he left the Germans again after 159,6 kilometers Pascal Ackermann (Bora – hansgrohe) behind – as with the Trophy Ses Salines – Felanitx. The Italian was third Andrea Pasqualon (Circus – Want Gobert).
By the way: last year won Marcel Kittel in the Palma Trophy a race for the last time in his career.
