BH Bikes starts tourism cooperation in the Spessart: Premium partnership with Bad Orb

14 January 2020 by Andrew Waldera

Spectrum: BH Bikes and Bad Orb start the new season together. The health resort has been involved in the MTB sector for some time and has implemented a comprehensive network of trails with a total of 22 tours in recent years. The first contacts between the Spanish bike manufacturer and Bad Orb were made during last year's mountain bike tourism forum.

BH Bikes is starting the 2020 season with a new tourism cooperation. Bad Orb in the Spessart is now the premium partner of the Basque bicycle manufacturer. Steffen Krill, Market Manager of BH Bikes Germany, is looking forward to joint projects at home: "I've been observing the activities in Bad Orb and the surrounding area for quite some time. For me, as a child of the Spessart and as the brand manager for Germany, the commitment, the wealth of ideas and the organization surrounding the various projects that Bad Orb has launched with its partners in recent years is absolutely exemplary. Due to the physical proximity of our German branch to Bad Orb and our personal passion for cycling, we would like to be a part of it and, together with those responsible for tourism, make our homeland interesting for even more bikers and make it better known with a few joint projects in the next few years .”

The managing director of Bad Orb Kur GmbH, Dr. Dirk Thom, on the future cooperation: "With BH Bikes we have found a competent international partner to further expand and strengthen (e-)bike tourism in our region as well as to further develop existing projects and to be able to envisage new tasks . We are sure that this cooperation will contribute in many ways to the establishment of bike tourism in the entire Spessart destination. So that our guests can also explore the wonderful landscape and nature in the Spessart on high-quality two-wheelers, a local partner company takes over the rental of BH Bikes". The spa town offers a total of 650 kilometers of MTB trails with 22 tours. Another attraction for mountain bikers was created in 2017 with the opening of the flow trail.
