Product news: We all know that love for a bike can take on expensive dimensions. Compared to this custom-made product from Festka's bike forge, even S-Works racing machines look like special offers from the grab belt.
Individuality is trump
The Czech company Festka is one of the few specialists who manufactures a high-quality custom-made carbon frame. Each wheel from the Prague manufactory is therefore unique and made exclusively for its future owner.
The most recent project, however, goes beyond the scope, because the one made for a cycling enthusiast and porcelain collector from Bangkok Festka Specter Porcelain is worth a whopping $35.000.
From high-end components and 24k gold accents
For the individual design, the company used the help of the well-known Czech artist and illustrator Michal Bačák. Bačák developed his own porcelain colors based on the life and preferences of the future owner, which merge with cobalt blue nuances and 24-carat gold accents to create a total work of art.
As part of the 13-month work, the artist created filigree patterns and details that artistically depict the most important stages in the life of the future owner. From a love of cycling to hobbies like playing the flute and traveling to his children's names, the Festka Specter Porcelain is individualized down to the last detail.
The custom design didn't even stop at the original lettering of the high-end components. Instead of standard logos, hand-painted designs are emblazoned there. With so much attention to detail, it's no surprise that it's priced at $35.000.
"Now I know what personalized really means"
The new owner seems extremely impressed with his new acquisition: “I've had a lot of custom bikes, but it's only now that I understand (and see) what personalized really means. Festka far exceeded all my expectations”, according to Suratchai Chenyavanij. But that's not all. Because the Festka Specter Porcelain isn't just good for loving.
As usual for all custom bikes from the bike forge, this one is also 100 percent race-ready and resilient to the extreme. In view of the artistic design, the superbike for Suratchaj Chenyavanij should be no more than a fair-weather bike for special moments.
