Anyone who regularly rides their bike, whether on the way to work, in their free time or at competitions, will also clean their bike regularly. Anyone who always arrives at home at the end of their tour and has an outdoor water connection is lucky. Everyone else has to get creative when it comes to bike cleaning. For some time now, Kärcher has had a mobile low-pressure cleaner in its range with the OC 3, which, with an integrated tank and battery, makes life easier for everyone who has to clean their bike on the go or who doesn't have their own water connection at home. The OC 3 has also been a loyal companion to us in the editorial office over the last few years - for example, we were able to remove the dirt from the test bikes on the way before they were allowed to start their journey home again in the van. Like many satisfied users, however, we had one criticism of the OC 3: the water tank was just four liters. You could hardly get a really dirty mountain bike clean without having to refill it in the meantime. All the better that Kärcher is now adding the OC 3 Plus, whose seven-liter tank eliminates the only real point of criticism.

Apart from the enlarged tank, everything remains as it has been tried and tested: battery, tank, cleaner and even an additional box with storage space for cleaning utensils are all in one compact unit that can easily be accommodated in a small trunk. The battery lasts for about 15 minutes of non-stop cleaning action. If you need more, you can easily operate the OC 3 Plus with a 12V adapter on the cigarette lighter. Its five bar maximum pressure is strong enough to get stubborn mud off the bike without damaging the bearings or the suspension elements.

The basic version of the Kärcher OC 3 Plus is available in stores at a price of 169,90 euros.
