Eurobike 2019/Product news: The manufacturer Livall was the first brand to launch a smart bicycle helmet. From the beginning, the focus was on the development of intelligent solutions and product innovations for cyclists. In addition to helmets for various areas of use, Livall also offers bicycle sensors, bike community apps and bike accessories. LIVALL currently owns over 170 patents, which have already won over 10 international certifications and awards. With the Livall BH51M Neo, the manufacturer presented its latest smart helmet model at the Eurobike 2019, which is intended to provide even more safety.
The new Livall BH51M NEO relies on new smart applications to offer cyclists more safety in the city. Anyone who wears a helmet can protect themselves from accidents and their consequences. With intelligent 360-degree lighting, brake lights and anti-loss warning, you can actively counteract the risk of accidents when cycling in the city every day.
Livall BH51M Neo - Safety features
The urban design helmet has standards such as lights, indicators, media playback, Bluetooth, speakers, microphone, fall sensor with SOS function and intelligent light control through darkness detection. From now on, three additional features will complement these functions: Front and rear lights with indicator function and darkness sensor adjust automatically to changing light conditions. All of the lighting and its signals can now be seen from the front, side and back – i.e. 360 degrees around the helmet. This means you can be seen more quickly in any situation and from any direction.
Another novelty is the brake light function of the rear lights: the sensors in the helmet recognize a delay in driving and make the red light from the LEDs shine brighter. If the smartphone loses the connection to the helmet or is lost, the driver is informed by an acoustic signal, the anti-loss alarm. Another special feature in the field of smart helmets in general is that the new Livall BH51M Neo is now available in two sizes for head circumferences of 54-58 and 57-61 centimeters.
Livall BH51M - Urban look for security and comfort
The weight, construction and design of the Livall BH51M Neo appeal primarily to urban cyclists who value active safety in traffic and at the same time rely on communication and media playback functions while cycling. For this application and also that of the walkie-talkie chat, the smartphone is coupled with the helmet and the small waterproof remote control on the handlebars via the Livall app. With both hands on the handlebars, you can navigate through the functions and, due to the open design, ambient noise can still be heard easily when listening to music or making a phone call.
