Eurobike 2019: Fizik Antares Versus Evo Adaptive – 3D printed saddle

September 4, 2019 by Florian Nowak

Product news: With a new innovative manufacturing method, Fizik is launching a new saddle model with the Antares Versus Evo Adaptive. The great feature is that the saddle comes from the 3D printer. This makes the model much lighter, since you can save about half the material by using a grid.

This revolutionary and innovative saddle features unprecedented padding. The so-called Carbon Digital Light Synthesis technology ensures that the Fizik Antares Versus Evo Adaptive introduces a new generation of saddles. The Adaptive Generation evolved from Fizik's Concepts technology. Innovative technologies and products were developed here in cooperation with leading industry experts and scientists.

The Fizik Antares Versus Evo Adaptes offers the best damping, support and power transmission properties thanks to the 3D printer. This padding is made using Digital Light Synthesis, a leading 3D printing technology. Thanks to this unique function, saddles can be manufactured in the future that are tailored to the individual biodynamic data of the rider. In this way, the saddles can be made even more individual, lighter and more comfortable.

More than Florian Nowak

Florian Nowak is a professional cyclist at the EuropeTour level and has competed in many international races. At the German championship in 2017, he was the best non-WorldTour professional in 7th place and was therefore able to recommend himself for the Tour de L'Avenir and the World Championships. But he doesn't just feel comfortable on the racing bike, he's also always drawn to off-road terrain. In addition to sport, he works on his second mainstay and has completed his business administration studies at the LMU Munich.
