BikeYoke Divine: New telescopic seat post with auto-reset function

September 19, 2019 by Andrew Waldera

Product news: In October, the Munich component manufacturer BikeYoke is bringing two new products directly to the market. In addition to the Sagma saddle, the company's first bicycle saddle, a new telescopic seat post with an auto-reset function will also be available. The BikeYoke Divine is based on the proven chassis of the Revive support, but has a completely new interior.

October is all about BikeYoke. With the Sagma, the Munich company is presenting its own bicycle saddle for the first time. Also new in the range is the BikeYoke Divine telescopic seat post with auto-reset function. According to the manufacturer, the new post combines the high reliability of the Revive with a lighter weight, and at a lower price. For this purpose, the developers resorted to the proven chassis of the Revive and gave the Divine a completely new inner workings. According to BikeYoke, the new hydraulic/pneumatic system has an auto-reset function in which the oil/air circuit resets itself every time it is fully lowered. Manual reset processes as with the BikeYoke Revive are therefore no longer necessary.

The BikeYoke Divine is available in standard lengths of 125, 160 and 185 millimeters. The maximum stroke of the new BikeYoke telescopic seat post can be reduced in 5 mm steps as desired using clip-on spacers, which means that strokes from 185 to less than 100 mm are possible. The installation of the spacers on the shaft inside the post should be feasible in less than five minutes by a somewhat experienced screwdriver. The scope of delivery includes four clip-on spacers, individual spacers can of course be purchased later for even more reduction. The Triggy variants, which can be combined with different brake levers, or – if the space under the handlebars on the left is already occupied – the 2-by remote are used as remotes.
