Since its introduction, the SuperSix Evo has been known for its elegant and dynamic ride qualities, but the company still wanted to further improve the bike and make it faster. In order to achieve a good balance between the opposing properties of weight and aerodynamics, new, blunted aero tube profiles are used, which are intended to reduce air resistance, while the values for weight, stiffness and driving feel are unchanged or even better than the previous frame. These fast tube shapes are an important part of the elegant system-integrated design, where the frame, fork, seatpost, handlebars, stem and wheels are perfectly matched to offer optimal performance. The result is a saving of 30 watts at 48 km/h compared to the previous model.
With so much speed and propulsion, however, comfort must not be neglected, which is why the new SAVE rear stays, the integrated seat post clamp and a new seat post are installed, which improve compliance by up to 18%. The SAVE handlebar should also offer better comfort and more aerodynamics. In addition, the construction allows a generous tire clearance for 30 mm wide tires.
