Product News: In partnership with the Stevie Smith Legacy Foundation, Crankbrothers is proud to introduce the F15 Stevie Smith Memorial Edition Tool, with 100% of sales proceeds donated to the Stevie Smith Bike Park.
After discussions with Tianna Smith, Stevie's mother, and Gabe Fox, Stevie's close friend and team manager, it became clear that the lighting would be a big boost for the Stevie Smith Bike Park, allowing the local kids to ride at night, too, what is a great help to the park, especially in the winter months. So it was decided to bring light to the park and continue to honor Stevie's legacy both around the world and on Vancouver Island.
Let there be light at the Nanaimo Bike Park
“The Stevie Smith Legacy Foundation is thrilled to be collaborating with Crankbrothers on the lighting at the Nanaimo Bike Park. Since the opening of the park it has been filled with young bikers and with the additional lighting the hours of enjoyment will last even longer. It's amazing to see a longtime supporter of Stevie step up and contribute to his hometown bike park,” said Gabe Fox, Stevie Smith Legacy Foundation.
This project would not be possible without the generous support of Jenson USA, MEC, Corsa and Dunbar Cycles, and Extra UK, who will all help distribute the tools. “I am honored that Crankbrothers is taking on this project and working with the Stevie Smith Legacy Foundation to further the impact of one of our finest athletes. All of us who have had the chance to meet him personally, and those who haven't, miss him dearly.
