E-Performance: Sportier, lighter and stronger. That's the promise of the Swiss e-bike pioneers Flyer for the 2019 season. With the Flyer Uproc7, the flagship of the e-mountain bikes and three other models are getting the new Panasonic motor, and thanks to the new frame and optimized geometry, this promise should be kept.
Flyer Uproc 7: Manoeuvrable with enough reserves
A whopping 160mm spring travel and voluminous 27,5 inch tires are the first thing that catches the eye and offer enough reserves even on rough terrain. Thanks to the short chainstay and an optimized weight distribution, riding fun is not neglected either. Simply a nimble, agile trail machine.
The modernized geometry is characterized by a slacker steering angle and a steeper seat angle. On the one hand, it should bring smoother running and stability on the trail and increase stiffness. The significantly reduced standover height provides a lot of freedom of movement and comfort off-road. Optimized rear triangle kinematics also ensure a particularly fine response of the suspension in the full-suspension models.
Flyer Uproc 7: New drive from Panasonic
In addition to the Uproc 7, the models Uproc 2019 and Uproc 4 will also be equipped with the brand new Panasonic motor in the 2 model year. The new GX0 drive from Panasonic is one of the lightest on the market at just 2.9 kg and at the same time delivers record values for support with 90 Nm of torque - a big plus, especially for demanding and steep passages on the mountain. The Panasonic GX0 drive is fired with a smart integrated 630 Wh battery which is also easy to change.
The full-suspension Uproc 7 is now available in various configurations and in attractive colors such as Space Blue/Magma Red, Opal/Lime or Tangerine Orange/Teal Blue from Flyer specialist retailers
RRP from 4.299 euros
