Product news: 3D printing for bikes? With SKS also possible at home!

March 18, 2019 by the editorial office

Product news: 3D printing technology is constantly evolving and does not stop at private households. The quality of 3D printers for the home is also constantly increasing. After the first completely 3D printed bikes, the accessory market is now also on the move.

As a special service, SKS Germany now offers a free download portal for practical bike attachments. So everyone can easily print out the little helpers in their own workshop with their 3D printer. These are mainly small plastic add-on parts such as a pump holder, jersey clips or a water-repellent spoiler that can be attached later. The gadgets also include a tool that significantly simplifies the assembly of the SKS wheel protection cones.

The models can be downloaded from the SKS website and created on the 3D printer at home. With this service, SKS GERMANY would like to give customers the opportunity to benefit from the many advantages of 3D printing.
