General: The new Velomotion: bike market and magazine in one place

February 8, 2019 by Marcus Degen

Don't be alarmed - from the weekend of 9./10. February 2019 the Velomotion you know will change quite a bit.

The new Velomotion bicycle marketplace will be the central focus of the homepage . The Velomotion magazine can be accessed from the homepage under the "Magazine" menu item. Those who prefer direct access to the magazine can bookmark the URL https://www.velomotion.de/magazin/ .

One click is enough and you get to the usual Velomotion Magazine!

The magazine will also be given a visual and technical update on this occasion, and the website will be significantly faster. But you will find your way around quickly as usual. And don't worry: Velomotion still offers a lot of content about tests, technology, cycling, news and information about e-bikes and bicycles.

The Velomotion bicycle market is new, which, like the well-known car portals, offers the opportunity to offer or search for bicycles and e-bikes. Where in my area can I find a specific bike that I've been looking for for a long time? At a dealer? Or maybe with a private provider? Or would you like to sell and offer a bike yourself?
The possibilities are diverse and thanks to the detailed search functions, even the most exclusive delicacies can be found. You can use the internal messaging system to contact the seller or simply call them. You can see where your dream bike is, you can see the exact description with lots of pictures and possibly even a video - vice versa, as a bike provider, you can offer this to potential buyers and present your bike attractively.

Offering a bike as a private seller is free of charge.

For more convenient use, the Velomotion apps will also be renewed and will soon be available in the App and Play stores; We will inform you about this in the next two weeks.

It's possible that things won't run perfectly smoothly in the first few days; we ask for your patience and cooperation. If you notice any errors, please let us know – ideally with a screenshot and, if possible, a description of when the error occurred.

Among all “beta testers” who report a bug or provide other feedback via email in the coming weeks, we will be giving away a valuable Airmenius floor pump from SKS every week.

We look forward to your participation. Your emails will be stored anonymously and the email addresses will be deleted after the prize draw. Please send your emails to [email protected]
